But: involvement is not just about success and happiness.<\/strong><\/p><p>In hard times it becomes clear whether organizations are really serious about employee engagement. Is the attention for employee involvement just as great, or does it decrease as the pressure increases? We tend to retreat behind our desks to come up with a plan to turn the tide. While attention to employee engagement, especially when the pressure increases, can provide more flexibility and problem-solving capacity from the organization itself.<\/p><h6><strong>Brainpower!<\/strong><\/h6><p>By making your vision, prospects, plans and what you need from everyone a constant topic of conversation, employees understand what is happening around them and they will contribute, solicited or unsolicited, from their own role to the success of the organization. The man or woman in production has very good ideas about how costs can be reduced. The helpdesk employee knows very well how to increase NPS scores.
