Make the future concrete, together.<\/strong><\/h6><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What do you see yourself and your colleagues doing when you get to your goal? By literally sketching a picture of &#8216;The Big Picture&#8217;, the message will stick better. An image often tells more than forty PowerPoint slides, it is universal (and also usable in an international context) and a powerful magnet to literally pull everyone into the future.<\/p><h6><strong>3. Make your story shareable.<\/strong><\/h6><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8216;The Big Picture&#8217;, shows things in their mutual relationship and is a great instrument to start a conversation with each other. The accompanying story makes it shareable (everyone gets the same explanation for the image) and provides frameworks for the conversation: what do we mean by the image we present?<\/p><h6><strong>4. Start an organization-wide conversation.<\/strong><\/h6><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">When you discuss the concrete picture of the future with each other, it yields enormous energy and brainpower. Give managers tools (for example, dialogue questions) to facilitate that conversation with their employees. By listening instead of transmitting or instructing, they will be amazed by the good ideas within their team!<\/p><h6><strong>5. Determine together which roads are most promising.<\/strong><\/h6><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Make an inventory and discuss together what is needed to realize the future. Translate the most promising ideas in concrete action plans.
