We were challenged to go back to the core of the strategy and literally draw it out in 1 ‘Big Picture’ that encompasses everything. We then got our employees to (co-)think with stimulating questions around the visual, with the aim that everyone understands, embraces and can start contributing to the objectives and strategy. When organising strategy dialogues, managers play a critical role. Therefore, on the advice and with the help of POMTW, we organised a very well-appreciated leadership day in which we informed and trained managers to have the conversation with their team about strategy. 

We also regularly use the ‘Big Picture’ externally: within ENGIE Group, but also with ministers, journalists or other stakeholders; it always provides a great trigger for a conversation! 

The cooperation with Hans and Cindy was very pleasant. They keep us on our toes and above all are really committed.

Door samen letterlijk de toekomst te verbeelden konden we als directieteam over onze verschillen in visie praten en tot elkaar komen. De aanpak heeft ons dus in eerste instantie als directie iets opgeleverd. Een stuk vertrouwen, dichter bij elkaar staan en plezier. Een jaar na de strategic dialogue in Europa kunnen onze medewerkers aan de hand van de visual nog steeds aan mensen buiten de organisatie uitleggen wat onze visie op de toekomst is. Dat bereik je niet met een presentatie alleen.
